The Cultural Council of Pyrga in collaboration with the Pyrga Dancing Group invites you to a series of events, organized as part of the fair to the honour of Saint Marina on Wednesday, the 16th of July, 2008 at 9:oo p.m, and on Thursday the 17th of July, 2008 at 9:00 p.m, at the Church Square.

Wednesday 16 July 2008 9:00 p.m.

1. Hymn to Saint Marina by the choir of the Saint Marina church.
2. Welcoming speech by the Chairman of the Communal Council and Chairman of the Pyrga dancing group.
3. Welcoming speech by the Vice Mayor Panagioti Karidi of Yastouni.
4. Welcoming speech by the president of the cultural department of Yastouni, Alexandro Delidiani.
5. Awarding of honorary plaques.
6. Folkloric dances of Ipiros by the Cultural society of Yastouni.
7. The Pyrga dancing group «The Bread of our Predecessors» as it used to be made during our ancestors time.
8. Theatrical performance «H Yialloura» by the theatre group of Pyrga.
9. Cypriot songs by the musical unit of the Pyrga dancing group.

Thursday 17 July 2008 9:00 p.m.

1. Cypriot songs by the musical unit of the Pyrga dancing group.
2. Traditional dances of Thraki by the cultural society of Yastouni.
